There is a trick to make it run without animation errors & double UI = Don't copy (or use) the Animation & User Interface files from Arma 2 [=anims.pbo, ui.pbo (and all other files with "ui" and "anims" in the name)].
Everything else, you can use.
Simply drop the /Arma 2/Addons/ folder in /Arma 3 and rename Addons in @Arma2. Add -mod=@arma2 to your Arma3 start menu & you're good to go.
I do have trouble to run the missions since build v.0.51.103.078 though.
